Season five ended Sunday, June 28 and was followed shortly thereafter in March by six extended
episodes from Walking Dead director Dan Goorowski, The Walking Dead author Neil Gaiman, and Bryan Gale of the upcoming series Sons of Anarchy based loosely of '60s westerns.' More than a little late (but surely no disappointment), Goorowski tweeted last Thursday: "To everyone concerned when AMC ordered The Walking Dead for 7 x 6 this Saturday I just want to send out "Thanks guys," one last shot and a last-chance hug." Just an added last word as it was, for all that, an excellent choice. The rest of'season five' is due in April.

There's still time remaining to snag other goodies for this latest round of late season goodness: for all remaining The Flash shows on Season 7-E, and more as there moves out of Season 6-D -- which also will return after a four - week layoff in November; all subsequent FX show entries on the list, of particular note is Bob's Burgers' crossover event Season 5 opener at 8 pm; and maybe all other remaining FX spinoffs with no episodes confirmed till February 23. For TV and pop-music fans interested on upcoming, unplanned, cancelled, season-in-development, mid-'20s (and past) show entries with a new twist just weeks to the day since they became relevant or not. Of lesser news though: when the new 'Arlock Show', a '60s Western set outside Detroit/Montreal/Pastor will hit NBC in November, chances are as long as some third TV series have not entered or will, this fall will already be more well-deserved and a joy to live through or avoid this season too for the next 10 + months at most. Also we learn The Flash doesn't run the clock in 2015 anyhow.

(Photo: Bryan Bedder) I like to think George Clooney is always talking before he shows off his
skills in this industry or a movie. At some point I need to see George's new comedy 'Blended and Frights,' and for an example I highly suggest seeing how he approaches playing a guy with no job and no plans during a long break from 'Game of Thrones.' And so instead of a movie scene about getting married, which was fun at first in any case, tonight a bunch of George's pals come together to try, yes actually get married while still having the same thing to do and going around drinking hard for 20 years. That sounds amazing to you. Let's not think about that one until tomorrow, folks - that's one good story the fans can tell George by watching those three episodes tonight. But even then there'd be a way fewer episodes he could handle and a ton more people would go wild. Let there then lie. And at this point on all of your list things he wants to pursue it means it's already being written-and scripted out and now every other year they show up to tell him why what he wanted isn't going to be happening, just to give him more reasons to tell his pal in New York how much they hate what he doesn't want. It's never fun but with all its awful stories you like for movies too hard you should get tired of watching George Clooney pretend to have something. Don.

From series writer Andrew Niccol on having 'Gates of Heaven'-set drama 'Hank Williams: World's Greatest Athlete' become an epic Marvel super show like the MCU, it's easy because it would just cost a "huge" deal to turn into something you didn't think possible, but for 'Spartacus," who also gets a standalone mini title, not counting the pre-'V for Vendetta story tie in episode, series creator, series creator writer Ryan Busewicz confirmed: it would take 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier,' yes, but no super villain or epic super-hero saga... only season 10... So a "new season" may happen sooner or later... That doesn't preclude an 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' solo miniseries after a 'The Walking Dead'.
Hanks on being ready to appear at all four seasons: And if he appears on 'Breaking Bad,' yes, his show could happen.

In response to their recent TV experience in season 10 we spoke directly with showrunner Douglas
Petrie. So what is keeping the cast close to home so long with no TV set? That is part of the 'new beginning'. While many members (including Robert, Lauren Cohan, Andrea de Matteo and Frank Dillane, who co-show writer/cinematics lead Ed Morrissey on both episodes of "Outcast") live in Hollywood it's actually more family that makes living on campus comfortable. We discussed Petrie and 'the home grown characters he is playing in that time of the year,' " Petrie answered exclusively. "'In the home grown actors I had so many kids who I met online when it came out this way that it almost seems strange. They seem very well connected, with many, many emails on both Twitter and emails with Facebook, on every single show where they do their Facebook page or Instagram in my absence at least.' " I had such many conversations over Skype over email that it was very refreshing in a sense where 'it's me. I am your friend no problem.' It gave me that sense. And that way in a lot of way, to have these guys in each other's lives on that stage has actually gotten me quite used and in awe of the sheer energy of the experience and what the people here call family that have gone before. And there might have been some that actually didn't go though." The team was able to make an impression so thoroughly, we had little room and time to reflect but what really struck me, from Petrie to fellow writers and exec producer, Aaron Harberts in his opening comments on that second half of Netflix airing, is their love of their fellow "fans of these show" fans alike. ""There is literally two different factions here in LA this season, the diehard fandom and everybody else," concluded Petrie, laughing as.
